Arts Plane Reviews (APR) is seen as a catalyst acting for and between the arts on a local and national basis. It arose out of a growing need that painters, artcraftworkers, musicians, filmakers and other types of artists have expressed. The launch of Arts Plane Review is not only excellent news for artists being able to link up with other artists with something in common, but it is excellent news from the point of view of audiences at art events who a) have more idea about what goes on in the first place, b) can develop a greater sense of belonging to a cultural community by being able to respond to art events with greater ease, and c) can have their understanding of the arts deepened as a result of APR written articles and other relevant articles and education programmes.
